Ron glared daggers down into his sister as she yelled at him. "Maybe I wouldn't have touched you if you had kept your bloody hands to yourself! Huh...That seems to be the problem with you lately, doesn't it? You just can't seem to keep your hands to yourself! Not with me, not with Fred or George or any of your brothers, and you certainly can't keep them to yourself with Harry!" He yelled. It was true though, and Ron knew it all too well. "I DIDN'T CALL YOU A WHORE!" Ron roared, fighting the urge to smack her. Damn him for being nice. Damn her for being a girl. Damn her for being such a slut.
"I don't think it's up to you when my friends are done talking to you! Harry can damn well decide when he's done with you, Ginerva!" Ron yelled as he turned around to face her again. He rolled his eyes as Ginny turned sweet. "What, Ginny? Is it your time of month or something?" Ron asked coldly. He heard Harry's words, but for a few moments didn't aknowledge that he had. Ron just stood there, glaring down at his sister. After a moment, he spoke, though he refused to look at Harry. "Fine." Ron said, before turning on his heel and leaving the room. He slammed the door shut on his way out, so hard in fact that dust from the wall surrounding it came off in a big cloud, and the whole house seemed to shake.[/size]

"You did everything but call me a whore, Ronald Bilius Weasley!" she yelled, glaring at him. She practically had fire burning out of her eyes.
She glared at Ron as he started to talk about Harry. "I agree! Harry can damn well decide for himself. so he doesn't need you shoving your overprotective ass in his business!" she said, annoyed with her brother. He didn't seem to listen to anything going on around him when he was on one of his little rants. "I'm just trying to be a little bit understanding, Ronald."
Ginny jumped a bit as Ron slammed the door behind him. Well, at least her and Harry were alone now... Amidst bits of crumbling wall, but alone.

"Great." Harry mummbled to himself after Ron slammed the door on him and Ginny. The last thing he wanted was for Ron to be mad at him. Harry respected Ron's opinion a lot, he always had. Even when he had first kissed Ginny; Ron's reaction had been the only one he wanted to see. But at the moment, Harry felt it best for thing to be kept between him and Ginny. At least until everything was completely sorted out for them. Harry was confused at the moment and didn't need Ron to be mad with him on top of that. He would just have to finish talking to Ginny and go patch things up with his best mate. As they were sharing a room, Harry hoped everything was alright by the time they went to bed.
Harry crossed the room and sat down on the end of Ginny's bed again. He was tired of fighting and watching his steps with every aspect of his life. All he wanted to do was forget about it and just do what he wanted and be happy for a while. "Look..." Harry finally said, looking over at Ginny for the first time since Ron left. "I did what I thought was the right thing to do at the end of last term. And...I don't know. Maybe I should just go and talk to Ron." He told her as he startred to stand up again.

Ginny looked at Harry with her big, brown eyes as he started to talk about how breaking up with her was the right thing to do. She quickly pulled him back down as he started to leave. She wasn't finished with him yet.
"Harry," she said with a no-nonsense tone in her voice. "I'm a Weasley! Voldemort already hates us. Not to mention the fact that Snape or Malfoy most likely already told Voldemort that we were together. Do you think that it will make any difference whatsoever if we're together or not?"
Ginny sighed, running a hand through her hair. "I don't think we should be miserable if it won't make any difference."

Harry allowed himself to be pulled back down again. He could have refused if he wanted to but a part of him wanted him to stay just as much as she did. Looking into her brown eyes, Harry couldn't help but recalling hours they had spent alone together on the Hogwarts grounds. But thoughs times, no matter how recent, seemed very far away. He felt as though they had happened a lifetime ago. And all these thoughts accompanied by what Ginny was saying, made Harry was to forget what he had said back at Dumbeldores funeral. As soon as he thought this, however, a very Hermione-ish voice seemed to fill his head with sense again and Harry snapped away from his memories.
Harry let her words repeat over and over in his head as he tried to find a good argument against them. Saying the same things over and over again wasn't working and Ginny making sense was making this a lot more difficult for him. Finally, Harry shook his head and stood up. "I love you Ginny...don't you understand that? I care about you too much to let you be in more danger then you need to be. Sure, I wouldn't put it past Malfoy and Snape to have already told Voldemort that we were together but we're not now." Harry said, hoping that what he said would somehow make sense. He knew for a fact the last part didn't. Snape and Malfoy could have no way of knowing that Harry and ended things with Ginny, so Ginny was probably in just as much danger as she had been.
"Besides..." Harry finally said, rubbing the back of his neck out of nervousness. "...I'm not even going to be around this year Gin. What would be the point of continuing things when we wont see each other?"

Ginny watched Harry seem to consider her words before he argued against her. "That's silly Harry, Snape and Malfoy don't even know that you broke up with me. Which I refuse to accept by the way. I don't care if you think that I won't see you, because I'm coming with you whether you like it or not."
Suddenly, Ginny's eyes widened. "You... you love me?" she asked incredulously, her eyes wide.

Harry shook his head as he stood, looking down at her. No. He wasn't going to let her come along too. Ron and Hermione risking their lives was enough for him to try and handle. He couldn't let Ginny risk hers too. If he had any choice, Hermione and Ron wouldn't even be coming with him. The fact that they were doing it meant loads to him. But he still felt that he should be doing it alone. Too many people had already died because of him and he hated the fact that more might die for the same reasons. "I can't let you do that Gin." Harry told her, suprised at how calm he sounded.
Harry looked down at his feet before looking back over at Gin. He nodded slightly, shoving his hands in his pockets. Saying it out loud, was different then just knowing that he did. "Yes, Ginny..." Harry said quietly, sitting back down next to her. "But that's the exact reason I want to keep you safe." He explained, pushing away her point about Voldemort not knowing that they broke it off.

Ginny felt tears come to her eyes as Harry said that he wouldn't let her come with them. Well, that was only Plan A...
"You don't have a bloody choice!" Ginny exclaimed, feeling herself getting angry. She tried to calm down a little bit. "Harry, I'll follow you three if I have to. Don't you think it will be safer for me if I'm with you than trailing along after you by myself where anybody can find me?
Ginny finally felt one of the tears drop out of her eye. Harry really loved her? Her Harry? The one she had loved her whole life? "I love you too Harry," she said quietly. "And that's why I can't let you do this by yourself. I know you want to keep me safe, but honestly... have you ever seen my bat-bogey hex?" Ginny feebly attempted a smile, but failed. She felt more tears coming out of her eyes, and tried to wipe them away. But it didn't matter. They kept coming. Ginny hardly ever cried, and she never cried in front of other people. What would Harry think?

Harry raised his eyebrows in suprise at what she said. He hadn't expected her to get angry with him. Then again, he could hardly blame her for it. "Ginny...you can't follow us around. You're right, that would be more dangerous." He was all but ready to kick himself for saying these things to her. Especially after telling her that he loved her. Way to go, Harry. He told himself as he saw Ginny starting to cry. It took him a few seconds to process the fact that she was actually crying. Ginny. He had never seen her cry before. Growing up with brothers must have toughened her up a lot over the years. And being the one that made her cry for the first time that Harry had ever known, made him feel like a complete git.
Harry couldn't hide the suprise on his face when Ginny told him that she loved him. He couldn't help but smile slightly when he heard those words. Harry turned to her and whiped the ears away softly with his thumb. Keeping her face cupped in his hands, Harry smiled at her slightly. "I don't think the bat-bogey hex is going to stop many Death Eaters." He said seriously, but he laughed all the same. Harry sat there quietly for a while, looking into her beautiful brown eyes while he continued to whipe away the tears. After a few minutes he sighed. "You're not going to give up are you?"

Ginny sniffled, wiping her eyes. "Yeah, I'm right. And if you really love me, won't you want to keep me as close as humanly possible to watch me at every moment and make sure that I'm safe?" Ginny smiled again, slightly. "Besides, we'll be sleeping in the same tent. Can't go wrong with that, Potter."
Ginny watched as Harry's face showed shock when she told him that she loved him. "Don't look so surprised," she said, scooting closer so their legs were touching. "If I didn't love you so bloody much, then I wouldn't even bother."
She sighed quietly as Harry started to wipe away her tears, already feeling herself being comforted. "I'm actually decent in a duel, Harry. I held my own a few weeks ago when the Death Eaters attacked Hogwarts. Even if there wasn't any luck potion, I still would have been okay," Ginny said. "I can take care of myself... But I'll still let you take care of me, so long as I can be right there with you."
Ginny closed her eyes, feeling a lot better. But Harry's warm hands cradling her face... it was too much to bear. Ginny needed him. She needed him to hold her in his comforting arms, to feel his warm lips on hers, to be with him through hell or high water. "Never," she said passionately, bringing her arms around his neck. She leaned in and closed the gap between them, brushing her lips against his. She looked back into his bright emerald green eyes to see his reaction.
